PLCs, Protocols & Points: The ICS Cybersecurity Jeopardy Showdown
About This Session
Think you know industrial cybersecurity? It is time to prove it. In this fast-paced, audience-driven competition, the room will be divided into three teams and tested across the world of ICS and OT cybersecurity. Teams will choose categories and point values from the board and tackle questions covering industrial control systems, protocols, real-world attacks, major ICS incidents, defensive strategies, and scenarios where the answer may not be as obvious as it first appears. Expect PLCs, HMIs, Modbus, engineering workstations, attack paths, historical incidents, incident response, questionable network architecture, and more than a few situations that should probably never have been connected to the Internet.
This is not just trivia. Many of the challenges require teams to think like defenders, engineers, responders, and attackers as they work through realistic industrial cybersecurity scenarios.
After 40 minutes, the team with the most points earns conference bragging rights and the distinction of knowing just enough about ICS cybersecurity to realize how much can still go wrong.
Three teams. One board. Forty minutes. Highest score wins.
